At Óscar Herrera Gardens & Landscape Design, we take a thoughtful approach to plant care: diagnosis first, the right product only, and safety always. With over 30 years of experience creating and maintaining gardens and more than 500 satisfied clients, we know that an effective phytosanitary treatment protects without overdoing it: it stops the pest or disease while respecting your garden and the people who enjoy it.
PHYTOSANITARY TREATMENT
When we detect an active pest (aphids, scale insects, pine processionary, elm leaf beetle…) or a disease (powdery mildew, anthracnose, rust, sooty mould) and pruning or cultural practices are not enough, we apply a tailored treatment. Our approach is based on Integrated Pest Management (IPM): we combine preventive measures, good irrigation and pruning practices, and selective products (biological or chemical) depending on each case. This allows us to minimise impact while achieving effective control. We always explain the reasoning behind every decision and what you can expect in terms of timing and results.

PHYTOSANITARY TREATMENT
We work with trained staff, PPE, and proper storage and waste management procedures. We strictly follow product labels and safety intervals, and we inform you of any temporary restrictions (use of the treated area, care of the vegetable garden, presence of pets and children). We document what was applied, where, and when, ensuring full traceability. Our commitment is twofold: effectiveness and prudence.
Pricing depends on the treated area, the pest’s biology, access conditions, the chosen method (biological treatment, endotherapy, spraying), and the number of visits required. To speed things up, we can provide a quick estimate based on photos and measurements, followed by a fixed quote after the on-site visit.
